REAL PEOPLE HELPING OTHERS:
Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic is able to provide medical services through the support of volunteers. In 2017, over 200 volunteers gave 15,513 hours of services to the Clinic. Committed individuals are needed in all areas of the clinic operation. You don't have to be a Healthcare Professional to serve. The Clinic needs volunteers to provide central intake and screening help with the Newsletter, recruit other volunteers, provide data entry, etc.
COME BE A PART OF THIS WONDERFUL MISSION!
We have openings for the following volunteers –
- Administrative volunteers- such as patient chart management, scheduling specialty appointments for patients, making copies of the various forms needed for clinic operations, answering phones and much, much more!
- Clinic volunteers - if you possess a medical provider, nursing, medical assistant, pharmacy or pharmacy technician license, you can make a difference here - our patients need your expertise.
- Screeners- to qualify for medical and dental care at the Clinic, there is a process to verify that an individual really needs our services. We need individuals to evaluate the financial situations of those who come to us for help.
Training is provided for all positions, volunteers do not need to have a medical background.
